Oh The Places You’ll Go

Description

Hand made Haitian metal art. Using a recycled 55-gallon oil drums, Haitian artists cut and flatten the oil drum. Then with chalk, the design is drawn onto the metal sheet. Using a hammer, chisel and various primitive tools, the shape is cut and the various decorative patterns are pounded into the metal, creating a unique piece of amazing art. The finished design is signed by the artist and coated with a protective finish.
